I HATE WINTER

Although winter in Latvia isn’t unusual, most people, including the author, don’t love this season. And so, each year, it surprises us with the same challenges and leads to even more profound sadness.

The series of photos is the author’s story about winter through his vision, observing the everyday life of the average Latvian during winter.

In his medium format analog photographs, the author depicts both documentary moments and fictional situations that are a part of every inhabitant of a cold climate.
